The day of my wedding my darling MIL came to visit me.  She told me how she always dreamed of this day.  She would imagine her son (in a tux) standing at the front of a grand cathedral that was filled with flowers, and a tall, blonde, blue-eyed bride walking down the aisle giving HER SON the wedding that HE deserves.  "Instead, he is marring YOU!" was her loving comment.  You see, I have light brown hair and hazel eyes.  I am short, and come from a poor family.  In fact, we had to pay for our own wedding (everything).  Twelve years and 3 children later she is as mean and hurtful as ever, and my FIL has joined in.  FIL told my DH to get rid of me, and my MIL introduced my DH to another woman, whom they "would love to be the grandparents of HER children".  My DH sees it (thank God!!) and thanks me for putting up with my in-laws.  Also, my DH did tell them, "If SHE goes, so do I!!"  I just hope I can handle it for 12+ more years.

frequent fry her - milfromhell, 1 of 4 needed Frequent Fry Her TM. - milfromhell, 1 of 4 needed/Posted: 7-FEB-06
I just wanted everyone to know that my MIL starts balling if my DH does not call her every night.  In addition, she asks almost every night whether he ate dinner, what he ate, if I cooked, did he brush his teeth, did he shower, did he iron his clothes, does he need new underwear or socks (that she can buy him), and how often do we bathe our dog.  Talk about a CONTROL FREAK!!!  I HATE HER!!!!!!!!!!!  One day I am just going to say, "Honey, if he needs new underwear, I will certainly be the first to know.  And then I will buy them for him, so back off!"

( I want my own Frequent Fry Her TM Page )

Any suggestions or feedback is welcome.  My MIL has real problems, and I understand that she is mentally ill.  We've had to take control of many aspects for her legally to help her out.  She didn't exhibit any of these signs in front of me until my wedding day.  My wedding day was the day that I felt like the special one, the one who is the center of attention, the princess.  After speaking to the wedding party the morning of the party (the wedding was early afternoon), the girls and I went to finish a few things and get our hair done.  We arrived at the church and got dressed.  The guys were outside getting some pictures done, and then we got some shots done of the girls afterwards.  I had it planned that at the beginning of the ceremony the moms from both sides would light the outer candles and then after the ceremony my DH and I would light the unity candle to signify the joining of families.  Well, when the ceremony was supposed to start, someone came to me and said that someone was missing.  I said, "Oh well, let's get the show on the road.  Their bad," thinking that it might be a guest or something.  I come to find out that it was my MIL.  We had to put the wedding off by over 40 minutes so someone could pick her up from the hotel room and bring her back.  No apologies ever, she just walked in like she was the center of the universe.  OOOOOHHHHH.  Of course, this pushed back everything, from pictures after the wedding to the catering.  And lets not talk about guests who had children who obviously were getting fussy!!!
