MIL will call and ask for her son.  When she is told that he is not home, she will then ask, "Well, do you expect him to come home?"  What does she think?  For heaven's sake, this has been his home for the past 14 years.  His family is here, his clothes are here, and he lives here.  It is actually where he spends MOST of his time, excluding the time spent at work.  Is she trying to insinuate something?

As part of my wedding invitations I included a handmade autumn leaf and asked people to write their sentiments on the leaf and send it back with the RSVP.  I'm hoping to use these in my scrapbook.  I got FMIL's RSVP yesterday.  On the leaf was written, "Know that I will always love you (DF's name) and you will always have your mother to come back to no matter what happens in life."

Worst gift:  The worst gift that I ever got from my MIL was just before the birth of my DD.  As a shower gift my MIL bought me a double stroller from a garage sale.  It had mildew all over the back and sides.  And, I wasn't even having twins!!
