Has anyone here ever stood
up to their MIL and had it actually be a good thing? For some reason,
in my normal life, I'm able to stand up to the people I need to.
I am not normally completely spineless. But, with her, I just can't.
I'm about to have my first baby, and I know she will totally take
over if I let her. I don't want to completely cut her out, but,
at the same time, I need her to respect my space and the fact that
DH and I are the ones who need to make decisions where our child
is concerned, not her!

MIL and FIL try to control
us with money. I never want to take another cent from them as long
as I live, but DH does it anyway! It's like I'm the child in the
relationship. DH and MIL make all the decisions with the money
they make, and I'm left out. What should I do?

Worst gift: Worst Christmas
gift EVER!! My MIL gave me a book on how to raise a child.. This
was VERY ODD due to the fact that I already have two children from
a previous marriage!!
