I have been married for
three years, and we have a beautiful two year old boy. DH is currently
a Marine. Well, since the day we got married, my EVIL MIL told
my own mother that our marriage was not going to last. Of course,
I never told my husband this, because he wouldn't believe me. Last
year, when we went to visit her, she yelled at me and insulted me
while I kept quiet. Now that we are about to go down there again
for the holidays, she decides to start making my life miserable
by telling DH that she knows that I have cheated on him with his
friends, and that I'm only with him for his money. First of all,
when I met DH, he had no money. Second of all, I married him because
I love him, and together we are pulling our family through. Then,
she told him that she knows that he comes home from work and has
to clean and cook. Lady, get your #$% gossip right. DH does nothing
around the house. He comes home, sits down, and I serve him dinner.
I clean, I do laundry, I cook, and I do everything else around the
house. I also take care of the baby. Another thing she does is
to try to control DH's money. She thinks that, because he is in
the military, he makes a lot of money. $%& no. The military
does not pay a lot!!!!! She's always asking for money, and it is
irritating me. I swear, I hate this lady so much. Every night,
when I go to sleep, or, better yet, when I try to go to sleep, her
evil image comes into my head, and only leads to nightmares.

Worst gift: How about
NO GIFT AT ALL!! The gift in question was supposedly a gift for
my SON!!! She told DH that she put it in the mail. She went on
to say that, if for any reason we didn't get it, we were just to
let her know and she would buy it again and resend it. Hello??
Ever heard of insurance? Needless to say, we NEVER received it.
I was LIVID. It's one thing to lie to me, but to lie to my DS??
Her own GS?? DH asked her about the "gift" 2 weeks later,
and she quickly changed the subject. It doesn't seem to bother
him, because he said he grew up with this type of thing, and he
is used to her lying. Uggghh! It's aggravating. Thank goodness
we live FAR away from each other!
