Worst gift:  My MIL once gave us an anniversary gift.  It was of a love letter that I had written to my DH 10 years before.  She had immediately snooped around to find it, and then she STOLE it.  It was all wrapped up with a bow and framed with a photo that she had taken of us the day I gave it to him, just to show how long she'd had it.

        Signed - Stalked

Worst gift:  It was approximately 2 months after my birthday when my MIL presented me with my birthday present.  She seemed so genuine when she told me that she just had to give me this gift, as I was the only person she thought of when she saw it!  She told me how she just knew it was perfect for me, and it just had my name written all over it.  I was actually very touched as she handed me a white shopping bag with a discount department store logo on it.  I almost couldn't contain my excitement as I opened the bag.  I looked inside the bag and found that it contained approximately 30 bottles of shampoo and conditioner from the hotels she had stayed at in the last 5 years.  It held probably 50 bars of soap to match the respective hotel.

Signed - She Seemed So Genuine
