Why do MILs have to be so annoying and make your life miserable?!!  I'd just had my c-section when I asked DH to go and do the food shopping, as I was breast-feeding.  Obviously, she was staying with us to "take care" of her GC!!  I told DH to go, and he was acting like a brat because his mummy was around.  Instead of telling him to move, she told me to go and get the food myself.  I was told to leave her son alone!!!!!!!!  I hate her, I really do.  I just hope I never do that to any of my DILs.

Let me first say that this is a great site to vent and let our emotions out about our crazy MILs.  This is my first story post.  My MIL is not as evil as the ones I have read about here, but I just need to post to vent my frustration.  To begin with, I recently got married.  Luckily, MIL lives in another state, so I don't have to deal with her that often.  MIL is a perfectionist, an egotist, and feels that her kids can do no wrong.  I have always felt that she has a sense of hostility towards me.  She has made snide remarks to me at times.  Anyway, DH and I received an Xmas letter from her.  She says that she forgot to send it in the Xmas card.  The letter made me frustrated because she was going on and on about how beautiful her DD looked at our wedding, and that she was the most beautiful bridesmaid in the wedding party.  This normally wouldn't bother me, but my sister and my 2 good friends were also bridesmaids.  I felt that they all were beautiful!  She also mentioned in the letter that the wedding was in our state because I lived there.  Well, she failed to mention that my DH and I both lived in that state for several years.  She then went on and on about what a great job she did on our wedding invitations, and how marvelous they were.  The funny thing is that she sent my mom and sister an Xmas card, but there was no letter in it for them.  Boy, I wonder why!  LOL.  Anyway, I just felt that this letter was a slap in the face and that it was . . .
