My MIL is not from he!!.
According to her, she is from a wealthy and prominent family. She
walks like a floating butterfly. Literally, her heels are up and
her hand hangs to the front! You gotta see to believe!! When her
beloved son told her that we were to wed, her eyes shone. But,
they did not shine with happiness, it was with terrorizing fire.
Weeks of tormented verbal abuse ensued as to the arrangements of
the wedding. MIL told me not to laugh, as FIL hated my laugh.
MIL told me that I am a liar, etc. In front of her son, though,
she would be nice and kind to me. On the wedding day, she followed
me to the wedding shop where I was to have my make-up. She told
the make-up artist that she wanted just a simple make-up. Mind
you, her face was garishly incapable of any color, and it took more
than 1 hour to finish her face!! There were other brides in line
and the artist only could spare me just a few moments to touch up
my puffy eyes. MIL left quickly (on her broom). Red faced and
wide eyed, MIL shouted to me that I was so late. She even went
on a fashion parade, as she changed outfits throughout the wedding
reception. Friends were giggling and commenting that she was like
the BRIDE. I love my man, but . . .

My MIL walks down stairs
backwards, because she says she has a foot problem. Yet, she gets
around fine, and, in fact, skis and hikes. I don't understand,
I guess.
