I think I have finally
figured out why my MIL hates me. DH (and he IS my dearest DH) looks
identical to his father, MIL's most hated EX-husband. She destroyed
any happiness my DH had as a child. This includes his belongings
and friendships. Now, here I am, devoted, loving and determined
to put his happiness before anything else. She can't deal. He
is not allowed to be happy, and she can't make me stop. So she

Worst gift: The worst
gift I have ever received from my b!tch MIL was a tacky clock made
from resin that was a cheap imitation of an English collectible
cottage collection. DH and I collected them when we first got married.
I guess MIL thought that we wanted her cheap version of the little
houses! It was a garish color, with a huge clock face that was
too big. I am guessing it was made for seniors with bad eyesight!
I used it for a few years out of fear, but trashed it one day with
great delight! She is a bossy, short woman who thinks she is always
right. She asks how much everything is, and snoops when she's here.
But, that is all in the past, as we do not invite her over. She
is a nasty thing to try and deal with!
