I will never forget the morning of my wedding.  I was getting my hair done at a salon, and the ladies were so exited for me.  The hairdresser did an amazing job.  I felt beautiful, and so happy.  When I was turned around to see the back of my hair, I spied my FSIL sitting under the hair dryer.  She had not acknowledged me the entire time I was there.  I said hello to her, and she just rolled her eyes.  She said, "Looks good."  That was it.  A few hours later, she rolled into the church looking like a poodle.  It seems she was trying for some amazing hairdo that would wow everyone and take the spotlight off of me.  Well, she looked terrible.  Then, for the next three hours, she stood around smacking her gum and acting like this was the worst day of her life.  To make matters worse, she actually brought an album of HER wedding photos, from two months before, so she could show everyone who had not been at her wedding what a perfect wedding was like.  The funny thing is that our photographer did not realize that DH had a sister.  Because we were all so nervous and excited, even her parents forgot about her.  She was never in one picture.  The portrait with my ILs makes it appear that DH is an only child.  We still have a good laugh about that.  At her wedding, I was not allowed to be in any of the professional photos because I was not married to her brother yet.  She did not want me in the pictures in case we broke up!

My MIL is a horrible alcoholic.  She always wants my DH to be her drinking partner.  That stopped after we got together 10 years ago.  DH had to have a serious surgery a few years ago.  When he got to his room, MIL showed up shortly after, with a 6 pack, and wanted him to drink it with her.  I explained to her that that was illegal, and that he couldn't drink with the medicines he was on, not to mention the morphine pain pump.  So, she drank a couple of them, threw them in his trash can, and left.  I have tons more stories that I can share.  Some are even worse.  But, I must warn you, they are extremely shocking and will be . . .
